About the event
Kira DeLeόn is a recent graduate of Purchase College, SUNY (December 2022), where she majored in Arts Management (Bachelor of Arts) with a minor in screenwriting. Passionate about both entertainment business and arts education, Kira hopes to push the boundaries of traditional entertainment in the future and increase diverse representation and accessibility.
Through Purchase College’s Arts Management program, Kira has been able to study marketing, producing, communications, activism, finance, funding, and even law; all with applications to the arts and entertainment industry.
Through family company Sound Spectrum Entertainment, Kira has attended conferences for the Global Association for the Attractions Industry.
She will be attending the Mobile Entertainment Expo (MEX) in Las Vegas, NV this February, as well as The
Special Event in Orlando, FL this March to assist with guest speakers’ presentations.
A Connecticut native, Kira is excited to visit the Student Artists League at Quinnipiac University and share about her experiences, as well as lessons learned in the industry.
